Alright, Windows Phone 7 SDK doesn’t support sockets. Which means it doesn’t allow P2P applications (Including VoIP apps such as Skype and WhatsApp).

Anyway, an update today made my skip few heart beats. I sent a tweet Microsoft (@Windows) and aske… Y’know what, I’ll just copy-pasta the whole thing:

I hope it means what I hope it means in my head; Sockets support in the next update…

I wonder if those smiles will continue when someone uses the sockets api to write a torrents clients, and uses it to seed WP7 roms.

But in all seriousness, I hope windows phone 7 succeeds. Google has way too much control already.
