Online or spending time with family? What works for who?

An Australian study suggests that Men are happiest online while Women are happiest with family…

Leaving the weird picture above, Karen Phillips, a managing director of The Leading Edge, the business consultancy that conducted the survey over a week in August, suggests that people prefer to spend time by entertaining experiences and by meaningful interactions with others not with activities and achievments.

Now the poopism begins:
Men prefer to spend time online, playing MMO games, using social networks (Facebook and similar thingies) while Women prefer to spend time with their family and all…

As the article goes, it mentions details, such as numbers, about what Men and Women likes more than what…

I’m not going to mention the numbers and percentages, I’ll just mention who likes what more than what:

Over half of Men prefer to be online while just %39 of Women does…
%45 of Men prefer to have family time while to %55 of women does…
%48 of Men and %40 of Women prefer being intimating with another person compared to %38 of Men and %28 of Women prefer to have drinks with friends…
Women find reading books, having good food and buying presents happy more than Men…

And there’s something I didn’t fully understand about shopping for clothing…

Bottom line is, this kinda proves few points I have in mind…

Anyways, here’s the REUTERS link.
