One of the many ways of identity hiding…

I got this email from William MacDonald writing a short SHORT article about proxies and how to hide your identity (I’m sure alot of people here in Kuwait will use it for porn and stuff 😛 )

Essentially they are the same service but the region you are in creates primacy for specific sites.

This is not news to most. What is useful though that in order to circumvent these regional restrictions we have to use effective proxy systems.

For many this means using hidemyass.com but if you truly want to ensure effective searching and ways to get around US copyright problems the best solution is a program called hotspot shield. There is some slowdown to your connection but it is more stable and reliable than most other proxies.

Best of all there is no subscription costs and you can regain access to the Pandora music service.

Well, the only thing I hoped William to talk about (As I was reading this) was “Tor”… I think I’ll write about it later on…

Thank you William for the article… I hope someone could make a use of it (I’m sure I would)
