About video resolution, here’s a solution if you have a PC with good specs! All you need is having a video capture card! Then plug your PC to the TV (though graphics card video output port) and plug the PS3 into the PC (through video capture card input port)! Then get yourself an app that steams from the capture card (VLC works fine), and while streaming it, record it! And that’s how you get a high definition screen play! 🙂
PS: If you wish to steam it online, you still do that! Just rather choose your video capture card device instead of webcam! 😉
