I’m totally not a space guy (Neither like Star Wars or Star Trek… Though I prefer Wars over Trek).
So yea. Basically, Sir Roger Penrose (I was about to say Sir Robin the brace xD) had this theory in the back of his head where universe big bangs, gets swallowed by black holes, those black holes turns to a big fat cosmic ball then bangs again. But he didn’t have any proof until recently.
He found the universe that is believed to be the universe before the big bang (Where, according to the theory [Not the series idiots!], it’s quite doubtful that if anything at all existed before the bang).
