That thing you see in the picture is a 1.4 Billion Pixel Camera (Which means 1400 Mega Pixel… They should’ve used Giga Pixel instead to keep the rythme :P)
Anyways, it’s used to monitor the sky at night… Placed at mountain in Hawaii… With some technology to remove atmospheric blur…
Now… How small would it be if they developed a sensor with the same BP thingy in the next few years? Would it fit a dSLR camera? 😛
