Just when it felt like yesterday you started to enjoy the beautiful journey in the world of HTML using Yahoo GeoCities free web based services. Sad news is, Yahoo will be closing down GeoCities for good starting from October 26, 2009. So if you’re one of the old school internet useres who have used GeoCities before in creating your first website or that you’ve stored precious files on their web server, it is time for you to start backing up your stuff. As GeoCities site will no longer appear on the Web and you will no longer be able to access your GeoCities account or files.
