Why Android didn’t implement multitouch…

Now I think that Google made a smart move by not implementing multitouch to their Android…

According to a ZDNET article, Apple told Google not to implement it and Google agreed not to do so…

The reason of agreeing and not going against Apple’s demand was that Google is trying to keep good relationship with Apple since they share the same nemesis; Microsoft…

That, and the fact that Apple patented multitouch stuff and wouldn’t allow anyone to rip\copy them (That’s why the fight between Apple and Palm is going)…

Even though you can add some lines and hack it abit to let it support multitouch and all, but that’s not officially supported by google…

I just gave you short version of the whole article so I might be unclear and stuff… If you’re curious about it, Click here to read the ZDNET article.
