Or atleast I wish they were…
According to ZDNET, Microsoft will be launching Silverlight 4 in April 13th. Which is my birthday… I wish it wasn’t just coincidence =P
If I may say this; Silverlight is Microsoft’s Adobe Flash. But better… And faster… And easier to work with… And there’s a Linux port to it (Moonlight, I think)… So I should feel happy that something this big will be released honoring my birthday =P (So full of myself, I know)
and svg is w3’s standard Adope flash. and when it gains momentum, flash and silverlight will wither up and die.
I hate to ruin your excitement. but knowing now is better then later.
I doubt they’d die… Flash and Silverlight aren’t just made for presentation and video streaming y’know -_-;
It’s not officially released for the public use yet, right?
I heard sometime in May developers can release websites that works on SilverLight 4.0+ but if you release now you won’t be able to view the website. Is this correct?
