Well, the title says it all.
We’ll be demoing Oculus Rift in Q8CON in Mishref in February 6th and 7th. We’ll be demoing games my friend Bergin and myself made.
We made them separately, but we helped each others out and made these quick demos.
Aside from that, we’ll be using existing demos like Team Fortress 2, Strike Suite Zero, and other random demos that’d give the real potential of the Oculus Rift dev kit.
Shy readers, please, for the love of everything good, pass by and experience the goggles. I’m not saying this to know you (Although I’d be honored). I’m saying this because you’d get to know whats the whole Oculus Rift fuss is all about. Trust me, its worth it!
Oh, there’s this game, if you scored the highest score, you get a Free Raspberry Pi Model B! (Some rules applies. I promise, fair ones).
Here are few videos of the progress going through making my games:
Oh, just a side note:
If you’ve been to InfoConnect (Or should I call it “InfoFail”) and happened to pass by QualityNet’s Oculus Rift demo and you’re disappointed because the head tracking wasn’t working because its a dev-kit, they’re lying. They just didn’t figure out how to work it even though it was as easy as turning on a Computer. I have two dev kits; one of the first patch release and one of perhaps the third. Both had the sensors.
