I am not a scientist, however I am always interested in learning new things and thus conduct quite a bit of research. By definition thought that does technically make me a researcher and that is a big part of being a scientist.
Anyway, a couple of months ago while playing Bayonetta I got a really interesting idea and decided that I wanted to research more about it however I ended up playing more Bayonetta. A few days after that, my brother tells me about this one particular video he saw.

Ants.
This is the main reason I made this post at this time of the night.
Aside from ruining picnics and stealing your food from time to time, Ants are evil geniuses that can build underground cities that have a natural AC system and is highly efficient regarding travel distance AND include mini farms for ants to grow fungus that they need to keep things going.
Oh and don’t get me started on that one scene from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. There are ants that are so horrible that all they do is go someplace in a straight line and tear up and eat anything that happens to be in their way. Even if it happens to be asleep.
Oh and don’t get me started on the Japanese Giant Hornet.

Was funny during the video when they dropped cement on the hole and they said it was abandoned, like anyone would care about the dying ants lol.
Surprisingly there were some people that were pretty pissed off about that! When you have things like the Bullet Ant, Bulldog ant or this one specific ant whose name escapes me, then I have no quals about killing them.
There is an island that is actually slowly being over run with ants.
