20 fingers multitouch screen with ~6ms latency!? 3M’s multitouch monitor.

Forget all the DIY multitouch screens we’ve seen in the scene (Yes, I’m rapping… Damn you Black Dynamite)… This is just beautiful!

The 22″ screen supports Windows and Linux by drivers provided by 3M while Windows 7 supports the screen immediately, 1680×1050 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and consumes 70watts.

It’s time to look for a suga-daddy\mommy to keep funding my gadgets xD.

  1. … I cant get it!! why would anyone need a multitouch screen that can take up to 20 inputs at the same time!! I know im no octopus to need that!

  2. So you can have 2 people poking around on that screen playing some weird game that requires 10 fingers for each player.

That’s an example from the top of my head.

  3. that’s really nice! and they’re generous enough to support linnux too.
put on it a decent protective layer and you’ll get your self a nice “surface”
