ExtremeTech guys swapped the PS3’s hard drive with the sexy Intel’s 80GB X25-M SSD… Even though the SSD didn’t show any improvements when installing a game from Blu-rays due to Blue-ray latency, it showed a %30~%40 boost in speed when downloading and installing stuff…
Happy? Well thats just it… Here’s the sad part:
IT COST ALOT!!! THE SSD ALONE COSTS AROUND $600!!!
Though I wouldn’t mind doing such thing if I had the money =P
