Nokia announced that it is ( finally) going to release its first MeeGo based device somewhere around 2011.
Good news that they are finally ditching their Symbian based phones.
Being a BlackBerry user myself i am gaining interest in the Android based phones for it being based on a Linux Kernel and its vast share of applications. However, I have also been eying the MeeGo project since i tried out Loolykenns N900.
The MeeGo is a collaboration effort between Intel’s Moblin and Nokia’s Meamo.
Intel Originally announced that a MeeGo based device should have been out by Christmas of this year but Nokia’s head of Development for the MeeGo platform left this month slowing the project down.
