iPhone is vulnrable to the most basic service: SMS… Good like this :P

More to feed my Apple-bashing hungaaar 😛

Charlie Miller, the Pwn2Own 2009 Champion, gave a presentation in Singapore discussing a vulnerability in the iPhone that allows remote code execution through SMS which can tap into the iPhone’s GPS or microphone and can be used as botnets for some DDoS attacks…

Now, imagine this… You use your iPhone happily happy when someone sends you some SMS which forces you to send’em your location to beat the crap out of you…

I know that vulnerabilities are endless regardless the OS, but it’s kinda ironic to have such vulnerability in such basic system…

Good thing that the monkey-see-monkey-does guys in Kuwait switched to BlackBerry 😛
