Type username and password to log and type sudo su to become root. On root prompt type sudo killall gdm, this command will kill your gdm, because USB Flash or SD Card can't run well with ubuntu on it(GDM Problem!). After kill the gdm, you cant type exit to become common user(not root), now on common user type startx to enter your Ubuntu.....finish!
