From Xbox360 to Military? Microsoft wouldn’t think so..

I just imagined some kid yelling “OMG!! SOMEONE JUST SHOT MY DAD!!” playing MW2 and then respawn somewhere…
You probably know that USA’s military are training their troops using PC games (So you don’t have to wonder why American soldiers are bunny-hopping instead of walking\running). But they wanted to take it to another level by switching to Xbox360 when Microsoft said “NO!” for the following reasons (Not in order though):
1) Console shortage due to over demand.
2) Buying crap load of consoles with a single game per console isn’t much of a profit.
3) Bad reputation. You don’t want your kid to spend his time with a device that trains military… Really, they’d shoot you one day with a marshmallow gun if you don’t hand them candy somewhere in near future!
I wonder if this actually happened in Kuwait. I’m quite sure Kuwait Police will buy Xbox360 and kick in GTA, Forza for our driving schools, MW2 and Ace Combat 6 for military, Rababa Hero (FUCK! Now I wish this game exists!) for music institutes and FIFA\Winning Eleven for our football sport clubs (Yet they’ll still suck) =P

So yea, one private screen for PS3, XBOX360, BLU-RAY and probably your gaming rig down there…
No price\date defined yet… So you, Mac fanboys, should hold on to your wallet for a while… Luckily though, I don’t have to worry about that =D

One of the main reasons for buying PS3 is GranTurismo… Even though it should’ve been out centuries ago, I will wait for another year or two for that epic game…
Long story short, Lucas Ordoñez, a Spanish MBA student who’s struggling in that major, changed his life to become a professional racer…
I’m not mentioning the details here so you better read the source if you’re curious\interested… Why? Because I have to re-calculate my financial state and figure out a way to building a GT coach…
Oh yea, forgot to mention that there’s an actual GTA (GranTurismo Academy) that, if you did well, you’ll be able to race in real life (Which is how Lucas was able to do so)…
I can already see FORZA fans thinking of tossing their FORZA and XBOX360 console for this…

I know what your thinking “HOLY CRAP! 600,000?!” That’s right. Microsoft has just taken a huge step to eliminating piracy by banning users who are using modded Xbox 360 consoles from XBOX Live networks. Because online gaming is becoming more popular, it is only fair to make the playing fields fair for everyone.
But not to worry. If your Xbox Live account is banned you still get to have your console and the only way for you to play online is to buy another Xbox 360. Hmmm to modd or not to modd? That is the question. WTF?! I completely understand piracy issue but more importantly I think that modding in just about any hardware is an individual’s right. This is going to raise an interesting debate cause if you think about it Xbox Live is merely an extend service that Microsoft provides and they can do anything they please with it. But you can’t use their service if you don’t have an Xbox 360 (the console you’ve bought that is rightfully yours for you to do anything with it). What do you think?

Could this be the reason of buying ANOTHER XBOX (Since mine got RRoDed)!?
Or better yet, could it be the reason to buy the whole Halo serious just to catch up with the story!?
Anyway, Production I.G (The guys who’s behind Ghost In The Shell, xxxHolic, FLCL and other wonderful animes) is going for “Halo Legends”… I don’t know\care about the rest (Bones and Studio 4c), but I’m a sucker to Production I.G and I’ll do almost anything to watch what they release and try to understand whatever is related to them (Which means if there’s a GITS game for XBOX, I’m a buyer!).
Mouth shall start watering…

Armageddon will be available in XBLA in July 1st, and will be enhanced for PlayStation Networkin some other time…
If only there’s a place where I can get my both consoles in with good interwebz connection to camp…

Pre orders are kinda ready though for both games (in Xbox360 and PS3) and the arcade controller…
Well, Tekken 6 was one of the main and strong reasons to buy PS3 (Then they decided to take it abit longer to release it on Xbox360)…
I WILL buy that game (If not pre-order it soon)… Will be released in North America in October 27th…
I wonder if people here in Kuwait will stop playing Street Fighter 4 and start playing Tekken 6…

Microsoft confirmed nVIDIA’s Tegra chip in ZuneHD…
We all know what that means; GRAPHICAL POOPISM!!!
At the very least, you’ll be able to see good video playbacks, play Xbox360’s arcade games on it (Or just easily write your own using XNA), listen to your music and other stuff that most of devices does (Without the mobile usage since it’s not a mobile phone)…
And the best part of it is that not alot of people would go for it because, well, everyone hates Microsoft (Even though without it, your workplace would be a massive disaster)…
So this ZuneHD won’t be another “Lame Kuwaiti Trend” thingy that stroke BlackBerry and iTarded products…
