Pictures of my Car…

I was bored… So took pictures of my car at Plajat Street…

I tried something new in Photoshop… And I think I kinda phailed >_<

I know I messed things up…

Hope you like it =D

Eye-shaped Camera

Yonggang Huang of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, developed an eye-shaped camera. It’s curved like human eye.

The reason behind developing such camera is the desire to build camera sensors that bends. Normal sensors are flat and if bent, it will break. But this camera doesn’t because its made from square parts with electronic components and photodetectors connected by tiny wires that allows the whole thing to bend.

As Huang described, normal surfaces usually gets a clear image in the middle and un-clear image in the sides. But the curved surface gets a clear image in the middle and sides…

Its main purpose is to be used to monitor human body and other areas that a normal cameras couldn’t be used in…

It works pretty well on computers, all whats left is how to connect it to a human brain…

My Childish imagination…

I went out to take pictures of Olympia Complex while its being under construction… On my way back to my car, found this building… And my imagination worked its way…

Here’s the real picture:

And here’s what I had in my imagination…

Don’t ask why… It’s just my imagination… =D

NowPublic and my Spinning Coffee picture

Since I started going to Dunkin’Donuts, things started to go in some weird direction. Weird doesn’t mean bad… It just means something I’m totally not used to but could be good…

Well… This time it IS good!!!

Got back home, attached my BandRich to my computer and started my flash Xubuntu in my laptop, shared the connection and updated my flash…

Restarted my laptop and started Windows XP… Checked my email and I saw a new Flickr email:

Hi Flickr user,

We at NowPublic are working on coverage of Dunkin Donuts
pulling Rachel Ray ad, and your image would be a great
addition. We would very much appreciate its use, with
proper attribution to you of course. You are also welcome
to add to the story in the comments field, all accessible
through the link below. If you run into any problems, feel
free to contact me at XXX@XXXXXXXXX.XXX.

So I agreed and approved the picture… Never thought something like this would happen… I mean c’mon, I’m used to bad luck and all… But this is SO NICE!!! SO GREAT!!! Another motive to get deeper into photography (which means I must buy that Olympus e-520).

Here’s the picture’s link.

My first panorama experience

I know this isn’t a special picture or something. But to me it’s a very important step in my photography skills (though they’re not that great).

I read somewhere about panorama and you can take pictures of one scene and stitch’em together to get a 1 big picture… so I tried it and turned out like this:
