Band-Aid tape!?
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Concepts, FUN!, Meds, RAND() on December 1, 2009
I think this is the best solution to cover your wounds after a big samurai-style sword fight (Or when you fight with your wife in the kitchen)…

Even though it’s a concept and probably won’t be THAT useful, it’s a FUN concept =D
Don’t like chemicals in your body? Try electronics in your body!

Yes, you read that right… Soon, Kusunagi Motoko will hack your body and make you play with yourself for her own pleasure (Though I’ll be happy to be that victim… Anything for Motoko
)

Now back to reality, Brian Litt, an associate professor of neurology and bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania and his group, are working on developing electronic circuits that actually melts INSIDE your body in some way.
Their example of how useful it can be is that one can install a circuit that monitors sugar level in your blood and display the reading in LEDs.
My example is an MP3 installed somewhere and whenever you need to change a song you need to slap your face… So whenever you listen to a weird song someone just slap your face to listen to another song

*INSERT WEIRD IMAGINATION HERE*

This thing doesn’t necessarily prevent pregnancy… It’s just there for the fun of it…
But if you actually used it and had kids, boy you’re screwed
I wonder if they’ll make “Legendary Black Beast of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh” or “The deadly rabbit with the pointy teeth” condoms…
Or SHARK ones… Oh boy, I’m a buyer definitely!!
Sleeping bra!?
Seriously people, as much as it disturbs me to write this, I believe ALOT of girls here in Kuwait need that

So this, and push-ups… Every horny man’s bed heaven =D (Excluding gay guys and those with weird fetishes)
Gizmodo keeps bringing these weird stuff… Disturbing, but FUN and LAUGHABLE!!
Shit happens: Programming error gives x8 radiation dosage when CT scan

This reminds me of Dr.Becker when Linda took an X-Ray image of her boob ring… First episode
(Minute 2:20 in the video below)

Some hospital in USA overridden some CT Scanner’s software which caused the scanner pew pew 8 times the normal (correct) amount of radiation that the CT scan should give for 18 month.
Symptoms for radiation infection are showing up on the victims such as hair loss.
I hope no one would grow a third boob
Gunnar Optiks, I loves =D
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in FUN!, Fashion.. Wait!! What?!, Meds, RAND(), SCIENCE!! on October 7, 2009
Well, for those who spend long hours using computers (Including me, ofcourse), Gunnar Optiks announced their legend eye glasses that should reduce eye fatigue.

Well, I’m quite sure I posted something like this before somewhere, but too lazy to dig it up.
These eyeglasses costs $79~$99, and they can make you a prescribed one if you originally wear eyeglasses.
They look awesome and all… To me, I’d wear’em even when I’m outdoor =D
Exoskeletons for rent!?
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in FUN!, Humanoid Rat Labs, Meds, SCIENCE!!, Technology on September 12, 2009
Now I can see ALOT of animes coming to real life (Ghost In The Shell, Appleseed)…

Simply put, this Japanese company is going to rent exoskeletons to those who can’t move their body.
These exoskeletons can perform day-to-day tasks by utilizing human’s brainwaves. It comes in three sizes and cost from $1,570 to $2,300 a month. As shown in the video below:
But that doesn’t beat DARPA’s exoskeleton:
Now you better watch out! Grannies will be able to brute force you soon using a punch that’s 10 times more powerful than yours

Is this!? OMG! Ghost In The Shell is becoming a reality!!!

Adding DARPA’s telepathy with this, you’ll get Ghost In The Shell (Yes, I’m THAT obsessed with it)…

I’ll make it short:
This contact lens has some tiny stuff stuffed inside that can actually transmit images to your eyes and almost as transparent as %100 which is powered by RF…
Been tested on bunnies (I wonder why I’m not surprised) and lasted for 20 minutes…
All they need to do to make it work on human is to make it even smaller and stuff more things inside…

Cardiac patch: A way to heal broken heart tissue(s)
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Humanoid Rat Labs, Kuwaitism, Meds, SCIENCE!!, Technology on August 30, 2009
I hope this gets our hospitals soon…

I’m not a medic guy so I’ll explain it how I understood it…
When someone gets a heart attack, some heart tissues dies because some fat is blocking the blood from flowing inside a blood vessel on the heart which if someone survived, it’ll leave behind a weakened heart…
Poking around with lab rat hearts, some researchers figured out something that they call “Cardiac Patch”… Which is literally a patch of young heart tissue that gets raised outside the heart then put on the heart (In some way or another) and after a while, that patch becomes a part of the heart…
Boy, I just summarized 8 paragraphs in a crappy way… So, check the related CNET page if you want more details (And probably more accurate explanation than what I’ve wrote up there).
Wooden Skull!!!
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Humanoid Rat Labs, Meds, RAND(), SCIENCE!! on August 10, 2009
That can be an awesome piece of art rather than an awesome medical solution (Bone replacement)…

Here how’s it done:
1) Burn that wood till it become as black as night (We are the knights who says “Ni!”)
2) Coat it with Calcium
3) Suff it into someone’s head!
Advantages? Well, the spongier structure handles natural impact better than the awesome Titanium skull.
Disadvantages? Cost $850 (I don’t know if it’s an advantage or not, but I’ll assume it’s not), not as cool as Titanium ones (Metal detectors anyone?) and you’re less fun when you torn to a zombie (Which means beating the crap outta your head would be easier than the Titanium one)
