“No.” Sent from my iPhone

I think I’m going to use that from now on

Some Swedish dude sent Steve Jobs an email asking him about tethering…
I’ll quote the email from GIZMODO:
I’ll keep it short.
I’m Jezper from Sweden, a long time Apple fan, currently about to replace the very last computer at home with a brand spanking new iMac i7. I’m also awaiting the release of the iPad. However, I have one question:
Will the wifi-only version somehow support tethering thru my iPhone?
Two devices, based on the same OS, with already built-in technology to share one data plan suggests a secondary contract could possibly be redundant.
From the look of your keynote, where the iPad sits well between my MacBook Pro and my iPhone, I was hoping the three of them could interact as seamless as possible.
All the best,
Jezper Söderlund
Here’s Steve Jobs’ reply
No.
Sent from my iPhone
So from now on, whenever you want to use “No” as a definite answer, tag “Sent from my iPhone” at the end of your sentence

Russel brown (Photoshop co-creator ) recently asked Ansca mobile to recreate the original photoshop 1.0 from 1990 (wow Photoshop is older than me)
It took only three days to do so using the corona SDK.

DIY Magnetic Power Adapter

I should make a serious business out of this soon =P

Well, Macbook’s power adapters are awesome because you don’t have to worry about kicking the wire causing the whole thing to travel outta your room\apartment through the window. So here’s a way to prevent this for common laptops by creating one.
They solved the texters trap… Now I can’t laugh that often >_>

If you remember THIS, you’d probably use this iPhone app for your own good…
Type’n'Walk, an iPhone software that utilizes the iPhone’s camera so you could text and see what’s infront of you (Next thing we need is an app to play camera-counter-strike… Boy, that’ll be so awesome that I might end up buying one =P)
View your HDMI on your iMac 27″

See the video above? It’s about an adapter that lets you input any source of HDMI and view it on your iMac 27″…
So yea, one private screen for PS3, XBOX360, BLU-RAY and probably your gaming rig down there…
No price\date defined yet… So you, Mac fanboys, should hold on to your wallet for a while… Luckily though, I don’t have to worry about that =D
USB 3.0 ExpressCards are on the way!!
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Apple, Exploring Computerism, MAC vs PC, Mac, Microsoft, Technology on December 11, 2009
Now, I don’t have to worry about buying another laptop just because of USB 3.0 (The keyword here is “Just because”, I’m considering buying Lenovo soon, anyway)…

StarTech (Not Trek you nerds!) and Buffalo are releasing ExpressCard USB 3.0 adapters so that you guys (And myself) can stop whining and crying over USB 3.0 issues >.>
Though Apple guys will have to wait for some time to get USB 3.0 in their system… Sooorrrrrrrreeeeeyh =P (So much for owning MacBooks that can’t be upgraded)
Forget the 7 layers of BK’s whopper… This kicks ass!!

Disregarding the touch difficulties there, I can safely assume that THIS is the BEST software release event so far!
Now back to reality, that Japanese dude’s fingers are so tiny that the touch isn’t working well… That, or its some hardware\software failure… (We’ve seen some excellent touch demonstrations on Windows 7, so I doubt it’s a Microsoft-side issue… Probably some drivers\hardware problem).
Back to fun mode, I wonder what would Steve Jobs version of this would be? ![]()
Because I’m quite sure that Linux version would be a huge penguin fighting a huge fish then end up eating it
To those who say “Windows 7 would suck”…

Windows 7 was out 2 days ago (Too broke to buy one… I’ma steal one from my friend probably
) and I personally knew how good it will be (Or else, I wouldn’t have installed it on my MAX laptop, would I?).
Yet some Mactards and Linuxers said that it’ll just suck as bad as Windows Vista… Some even said it’ll just fail because it’s Microsoft…
Well, seems like it didn’t.

Windows 7 broke Amazon’s preorder record (The last record was Harry Potter… OMG! The interwebz is filled with nerds).
I repeat, Windows 7 claimed Amazon’s preorder record.
As in, the amount of people who preordered Windows 7 because the couldn’t wait until it’s out outnumbered the amount of nerds who preordered Harry Potter (I hate Hairy Podder… You can safely exclude me).
Not enough? Well, Apple will officially support Windows 7 by the end of this year… I can’t wait to see retards buying Macbooks and install Windows 7 on’em… Yes, we have ALOT of retards who uses Windows on thier Macbooks as THEIR MAIN OS (What’s the point of getting Macbooks if you’re not going to use OSX anyway?)…
And for the mock ups, Linus Torvalds himself passes by Windows 7 booth in Japan and give’em thumbs up (I wonder why the hell they’d install a booth next to Linuxers? Don’t poke the bear, I say)…
And I really don’t know what that thumbs up mean; mockery or seal of approval (I would assume the mockery, but Linus is so wise to do this, so I don’t really know)… Though he mentioned something about Windows 7 being a threat back in January…

I actually hope that Microsoft keeps this pace running… If they do for the next few months, I’d probably worship’em and carve their name on my wrist

HAH!! iPhone 3.1 update =P
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Apple, Exploring Computerism, Mac, OS, RAND() on September 22, 2009
I miss bashing Apple and their products… This came up just in time =D

To make it short (There’s other stuff to write about y’know), the device drains battery, won’t tether on officially unlocked phones, difficulties using WiFi and GPS services and can’t downgrade to iPhone OS 3.0 since iTunes wouldn’t allow them…
I’d yell “HAH!” on some friends faces (And probably some customers as well), but it’s been a while since I last time hung out with’em… I probably would do that soon
Now lets get serious, I really hope they fix it soon… I know how annoying an update bug is…
This is why I like .NET…
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Apple, Exploring Computerism, FUN!, Linux, Mac, Microsoft, Technology, Windows on September 22, 2009
.NET is not just about Microsoft anymore… Mono is there to fill the .NET gap in Linux, and now, on iPhone’n'iPod Touch…

MonoTouch, Novel’s new commercial SDK for iPhone and iPod touch.
I’d like to quote something as an apology to my bro-in-law:
“What’s important here is that C# and .Net are considerably more productive development environments than the native iPhone language, which is Objective-C,” said Miguel de Icaza, vice president of the developer platform at Novell and the leader of the Mono project. With MonoTouch, the Mono runtime provides such developer services as garbage collection, thread management, type safety, and Web services, de Icaza said
Now, instead of learning C\C++, learning each system’s APIs and stuff and get lost between Windows, Mac OS SUCKS and Linux, I think I’ll start learning C# (Which I’m already doing) and get things done in all (Well, not Mac OS SUCKS yet, but it’s coming that way soon hopefully)
