This is how you laugh while programming!!
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Announcements, Downloads, Exploring Computerism, FUN!, Hacks, RAND(), Technology, Tutorials, Weirdness on January 12, 2010
OK, so I was bored in Starbucks and wanted to waste my time… So I thought of writing a LOLCODE program.

I had hard time successfully writing it to be honest. Leaving the fact that I laughed like an idiot while everyone is looking at me with the “WTF!?” facial expression, the syntax weren’t that clear and the .NET compiler wasn’t that clear.
In any event, here’s the code:
HAI BTW software stars here
I HAS A VAR BTW this declares a variable named “VAR”
VISIBLE “GIMMEH NOM KOUNT!” BTW this prints “GIMMEH NOM KOUNT!” on screen
GIMMEH VAR BTW this waits for input and stores it in VAR
IM IN YR LOOP NERFIN YR VAR TIL SAEM VAR AN 0 BTW loop until VAR == 0 while decreasing VAR
VISIBLE “:onom “! BTW print “nom ” with a bell. the ! is to delete the /n
IM OUTTA YR LOOP BTW done looping
VISIBLE “:):)OH NOES!! NO MOAR NOMS!! OMGWTFBBQ!” BTW show complain that there’s no noms left… Bohoho
KTHXBYE BTW end of software
Compiled code? It’s here… Just extract the files somewhere and run’em (Seems like the .EXE file alone wouldn’t work)
BTW == “//”
VISIBLE == “cout”
GIMMEH == “cin”
KTHXBYE == “return 0;”
You’ll laugh even more when you read the specs
Seriously, I couldn’t stop laughing… I hope the guys can improve it more!!

Connectify!
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Downloads, Exploring Computerism, Microsoft, Technology, Windows on November 8, 2009
So few days ago, eLeet, Opeth (Yes, he’s mad about’em), Kitsune, Sein, Sein’s cousin and myself, went to some Chocolate Bar where we decided to chill there for a while… Not the quite good place to do so, but hey, chocolate is involved…
Anyway, I turned my laptop on by rubbing it gently where eLeet asking me if I can share my VIVA dongle thingy so we all can have interwebs.
Sure, and I did, but his HTC Hero didn’t pick up my Adhoc while Sein’s mobile picked it up. So I ended up using the interwebz alone for a while then I hibernated my laptop.

The scenario above might be common. And if you remember correctly, Microsoft announced that there would be “Virtual WiFi Hotspot” feature in Windows7.
Which Connectify comes in handy, it’s a Beta software that reveals this unfinished feature for public use. I haven’t tried it yet, though I will soon.
Why don’t you give it a spin?

Live Android
Posted by slartibarfaster in Announcements, Downloads, Exploring Computerism, FUN!, Hacks, Linux, OS on July 20, 2009

while on the search about Chrome OS, i was introduced to Live Android which is a OS for T-Mobile G1.
they offered a free iso image to download so i did so, first trying to burn it into a cd but didn’t work so i used the virtual machine way.
Anyways.. it is quit basic, a simple mobile OS, the version i had was clean no extra apps, no nothing, there is a terminal in it, so its probably java built on linux or something like that.
if you want to give it a try click here.
Metal Gear Mega Update!!
Posted by slartibarfaster in Announcements, Downloads, FUN!, Nintendo, PS3, Video games, Xbox 360 on June 17, 2009
After going through my finals and failing trigonometry -_-, it’s now time to get back here.
Anyways for all metal gear fans this is one heck of an update, BEWARE you might lose track of the info your getting since there will be a lot.
Let’s start shall we:
We all witnessed the countdown timer at Kojima’s website, I personally waited for it to finish since there was a minute left, after the countdown timer was done and countless refresh hit the announcement is revealed which is “METAL GEAR SOLID: RISING”

The new game is going to star cyborg Raiden as the main character, no more snake, the game is a multiplatform meaning that it will be released on xbox360, PS3, and PC, as I recall all metal gear solid games had a “tactial espionage action” phrase, yet this one has “lightning bolt action”, printed on it (see image above^)
here is something i consider as a semi-rumer:
Kojima will not be working directly on the game, i heard he say that this game is for the younger gamers, instead he is going to fully supervise what he called a true sequel to the serious that will be released only on the PSP:
“Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker”

I will not comment…
anyways jumping on to the fans side, last (rather first!!) post i wrote was on MGS: philanthropy, a fan made movie based on MGS, well on my regular web surfing the other day i ran into another fan made movie 0.0 this one is made in Czheck ^_-, if you didn’t know philanthropy is basically an Italian product and now this, that makes me wonder where is hollywood ??(I think i know).
anyway back to the Czheck movie it’s called “Metal Gear: Outer Heaven”

the movie is based on the first Metal Gear movie that was released on nes.
they actually are ‘done’ with the movie, and it’s available on their website (at end of post) and as a streamed movie over youtube (link in webby too) BUT!!
I have seen it, and I feel insulted , it was seriously a wasted hour of my life and of a 200000$ dollars projecter’s lamp life(university resources
), only good thing they did is that they had the real voice of david hayter (snake), nug.
Kojima once announced a MGS movie in production and was set to release on 2010, but since he did nothing happened which eventually had him and david hayet say that the project is off, here is a link to a interview with david hayter talking about lost planet and metal gear:
Collider interview
do watch the interview since he gives hints about the movie.
Last thing in this post is the metal gear solid Arcade, basically it’s just like the online metal gear solid game yet this one is arcade, enough said.

Phun is fun! and free!
There was a discussion about flash games on the forum a while ago. one of the best games mentioned was coconut run. basically, you construct a vehicle to carry the coconuts across an obstacle course to the goal. here is a video.
phun gives you the same physics (perhaps better) in a SANDBOX! yup that’s right, anything goes! take a look:
[youtube 9ppEnCnR5nU]
it’s available on Windows, Linux, and Mac
I downloaded the linux 64bit version a couple of nights ago and it works like a charm

“You are welcome to send some flowers to my wife,” said Professor and media researcher Roger Wallis.
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Criminology, Downloads, Exploring Computerism, FUN!, Hacks, Kuwaitism, Weirdness on March 1, 2009
The Professor Roger Wallis was called as a witness in The Pirate Bay trail (Btw, TPH squad are kicking the balls!!)… He said “You are welcome to send some flowers to my wife,” answering back the court when they asked him whether he wanted to be reimbursed for his appearance.

I never thought something like this would happen… I’ll try to represent it in numbers:
In Feb the 27th, a local flower shop in Stockholm received 100 orders by 20:30…
In Thursday night (26th of Feb), the last 33 bouquets were delivered…
4100 Euros worth of flowers, chocolate and gifts have been sent to the Professor and his wife…
I think this would give a small example of how much people love The Pirate Bay and whoever defend’em…
I doubt something similar would happen here in Kuwait unless it’s taken globally under such sensitive trail
Note to self:
When I face any similar situation, I’ll remember to mention cheezburger and Chocolate Father Stars (Kakkaw Bu Njoom)

System32 Watcher v0.5
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Announcements, Downloads on December 3, 2008
I wrote this program as a VB.NET practice on how to use System.IO … And turned out to something like this…
This software monitors whatever change occurs in (C:\Windows\System32) and logs every change and store them to a file… Including the ability to ignore desired events so you won’t be flooded with such thing…
It might consume resource and some extra pointless process, but it’s just my start since I’m not that good in VB.NET…
It’s a beta version, so expect few bugs and crap… Whoever downloads this file PLEASE provide me with feedbacks… Whether you like it or not, whether you can provide good pieces of advices or you can provide me with bugs found on the software…

ARP Sender v0.1
Posted by Loolykinns Teh P1r473 in Announcements, Downloads, Hacks, SECURITEEH!!! on November 8, 2008
I wrote this as a first stage of my MITM tool…
This tool can send ARP Packets through the network. You’ll just need to run the tool, fill the required stuff and CTRL+C whenever you want to stop it from running…
Though it requires WinPcap and abit of ARP knowledge (You chould read more about ARP in Wikipedia)
For suggestions, discussions, remarks and correctness, you can whether email me or join our forum so we could all discuss it and learn (I prefer the 2nd option though)… And if you want the source code just send me an email to send you the source code…
Click here to download the tool.
