“No.” Sent from my iPhone

I think I’m going to use that from now on :P

Some Swedish dude sent Steve Jobs an email asking him about tethering…

I’ll quote the email from GIZMODO:

I’ll keep it short.

I’m Jezper from Sweden, a long time Apple fan, currently about to replace the very last computer at home with a brand spanking new iMac i7. I’m also awaiting the release of the iPad. However, I have one question:

Will the wifi-only version somehow support tethering thru my iPhone?

Two devices, based on the same OS, with already built-in technology to share one data plan suggests a secondary contract could possibly be redundant.

From the look of your keynote, where the iPad sits well between my MacBook Pro and my iPhone, I was hoping the three of them could interact as seamless as possible.

All the best,
Jezper Söderlund

Here’s Steve Jobs’ reply

No.

Sent from my iPhone

So from now on, whenever you want to use “No” as a definite answer, tag “Sent from my iPhone” at the end of your sentence :P

iPhone users can now Photoshop on the go

Russel brown (Photoshop co-creator ) recently asked Ansca mobile to recreate the original photoshop 1.0 from 1990 (wow Photoshop is older than me)

It took only three days to do so using the corona SDK.

“Planting spycams in bathrooms and dress-rooms” is old fashioned? Try “In students Macbooks”!!

Boy, I can imagine how things will turn out like if this happened in Kuwait =P

Long story short,

Some students in some high-school in USA noticed that their Macbook webcam’s green light is turning on and off randomly. So they’re suing the school for those perverted admins that peeks through the webcams remotely…

PEDOBEAR IS INNOCENT!! PEDOBEAR IS INNOCENT!!!

Now remember kids, not even OSX can protect you…

DIY Magnetic Power Adapter

I should make a serious business out of this soon =P

Well, Macbook’s power adapters are awesome because you don’t have to worry about kicking the wire causing the whole thing to travel outta your room\apartment through the window. So here’s a way to prevent this for common laptops by creating one.

Adam Tablet

Well, if you’re hyped up about the new iPad, you should hold your money until this baby is out.

Notion Ink are releasing their Adam tablet which be a better investment than buying an iPad… Yes, I know people who are willing to buy that lame crap gadget.

Anyway, Adam Tablet will feature 1080p video output, nVidia and Pixel Qi screen that boost the battery life atleast as twice as iPad’s, it’ll have Android and they’re figuring out Flash support.

Must I buy a bigger bag and anticipate this device to carry it alongside my laptop and camera?

NOTE:
Don’t get the wrong idea regarding my iPad’s comment. I hate Apple products with passion, yet I respect them while excluding the iPad because it’s such a huge disappointment as a device.

Apple Unviels it’s TABLET PC – FINALLY!

Ok before I even bothered myself in reading the specs, details and all that crap from Apple’s new product. I just took one look at the tablet PC image and I was like “WTF?! That’s just a giant Iphone/touch? Seriously?!” AND Guess what, I WAS RIGHT!! It IS a giant Iphone/touch! After going through it’s specs, I was not surprised at all. It’s a typical Apple product marketing scheme. You be the judge.

Specs

Device Name: Apple IPAD
Weight: 1.5 pounds.
Screen Size: 9.7-inch touch screen.
Processor: 1GHz Apple A4 chip developed by P.A. Semi team.
Battery Life: 10-hours
Operating System: Iphone OS 3.2
Storage Size: 16, 32, and 64GB.
Camera: Shit NO!
Built-in Crap: Speaker, Microphone, accelerometer, USB Slot, Memory Card Slot and a compass. (Woopee Doo)
Connectivity: Bluetooth, 802.11n WiFi and optional 3G (Yes there is a price Tag for the 3G version ALONE)
3G Plan: The 3G version runs on AT&T service. There are two planes that they have come up. 250MB for $14.99 and the unlimited plan for $29.99 a month contract-free.

Alright. Now that the specs are out of the way get ready to break your wallet apart for the price tags.

16GB = $499
32GB = $599
64GB = $699

BUT WAIT! What about if You wanted the 3G Model? How much will that cost? Simple, to get that just add $130 dollars extra to any of the models above to get the 3G feature. SERIOUSLY!?!!

To conclude, do you guys honestly think this product is worth the purchase? I know Apple fan boys won’t say no to it. WHERE on EARTH do these guys get their money from?!!

View your HDMI on your iMac 27″

See the video above? It’s about an adapter that lets you input any source of HDMI and view it on your iMac 27″…

So yea, one private screen for PS3, XBOX360, BLU-RAY and probably your gaming rig down there…

No price\date defined yet… So you, Mac fanboys, should hold on to your wallet for a while… Luckily though, I don’t have to worry about that =D

USB 3.0 ExpressCards are on the way!!

Now, I don’t have to worry about buying another laptop just because of USB 3.0 (The keyword here is “Just because”, I’m considering buying Lenovo soon, anyway)…

StarTech (Not Trek you nerds!) and Buffalo are releasing ExpressCard USB 3.0 adapters so that you guys (And myself) can stop whining and crying over USB 3.0 issues >.>

Though Apple guys will have to wait for some time to get USB 3.0 in their system… Sooorrrrrrrreeeeeyh =P (So much for owning MacBooks that can’t be upgraded)

“Change the name? Why didn’t I think of that!?”

Well, the story goes like this:

The guys behind iPodRip got blocked and served by Apple. So the big boss of that App sent Steve Jobs a message asking assistance and guidance in such scenario.

Here’s the letter that iPodRip guys sent:

Dear Mr. Jobs,

My name is John Devor and I’m the co-owner of a small Mac shareware company named The Little App Factory and a long-term Apple customer and shareholder. I doubt you’re aware but we recently received a letter from a law firm working on Apple’s behalf instructing us that we had violated several of Apple’s trademarks in our application iPodRip and asking us to cease using the name and Apple trademarks in our icons.

We have been distributing iPodRip since 2003 with the aim of providing a method to recover music, movies and photos from iPods and iPhones in the event of a serious hardware failure on their Mac which leads to data loss. Our goal has been to provide the highest quality product coupled with the highest quality service in a bid to resolve some of the angst that is generated by such an ordeal; service befitting of an Apple product. In this department we think we have succeeded as we have approximately 6 million customers, many Apple employees, music artists and other notable people in society. In fact I’d argue that our customer service is the best of all competing applications in our niche as many of them are scams and frauds that leave Apple customers with a terrible taste in their collective mouths. We fear very much that tens of thousands of Apple customers looking to recover their own music and having heard of our product via word-of-mouth or otherwise, will instead find a product produced by one of our competitors, and will wind up the victim of a scam (one closely-named competitor charges a hidden monthly fee, for instance).

It is quite obvious that we mean Apple no harm with the use of the name iPodRip, or of the inclusion of trademarked items in our icons, and in fact I believe that we have been providing an excellent secondary service to Apple customers that has potentially caused you many repeat clients. In fact, we are quite aware that Apple support and store staff have recommended our software on numerous occasions as far back as 2004 so we have felt that we were doing something right!

With this in mind, we are in desperate need of some assistance and we beseech you to help us to protect our product and our shareware company, both of which we have put thousands upon thousands of hours of work into. Our company goal is to create Mac software of the highest quality with the best user experience possible. I myself dropped out of school recently to pursue a path in the Mac software industry, and you yourself have been a consistent inspiration for me.

If there is anything at all you can do with regards to this matter, we would be most grateful.

Best,

John Devor

Where Steve Jobs only replied with:

Change your apps name. Not that big of a deal.

Steve

Sent from my iPhone

Which they did… To “iRip”

But when you think about it, Steve Jobs could’ve been nicer and sent’em a longer message…

I know because I’ve been through this somehow; I sent my supervisor a damn long email explaining a case I’ve experienced and asking him to guide me through it and\or carry it on… I’d so post the email content in here, but I can’t due to work’s confidentiality… Though he only replied with “I will call the customer, thank you.” >_>

Iphone/touch app – BLOWS REAL AIR?!

Ok seriously I can’t wait to get my touch soon because the ADs for the iphone/touch are true. THERE IS AN APP for JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!!!

This app is pretty amazing to what you can do with sound. Right now it is listed as the download of the week.

Here is a test to all the developers out there for the Iphone/touch. I have a couple of ideas for an app and I DARE YOU to create it. Because if you do you’ll be famous and I can garantee it.

Create an app that allows you start fire or a fire starter. How do I go about doing that you say? I have absolutely no idea but if there is an app for making your iphone/touch to ridding off bugs, make it into a dildo, give it fart noises and blowing air; I don’t see how creating a fire starter app is any different from the apps I’ve mentioned above.

OH yes another app to think about is heart rate counter like you would find in a tread mill machine that would could your heart rate after a long run ON THE SPOT that is and also another app would be for someone that has trouble breathing and Iphone/touch acts like an oxygen tank. Better yet, create an app that heats coffee mugs!! WOOOH COFFEE!!!

Let’s recap the Apps I mentioned for future release.

1. Fire Starter
2. Heart rate counter
3. Oxygen tank
4. Coffee Mug heater

Now there is something to think about. GET TO IT SLAvEs..erumm.. I mean.. DEVELOPERS! AND BECOME FAMOUS!!! :D
