More from the “Bush shooed” incident…

I think the artist is so bored :P

That’s a HUGE monument for such a small shoe (Two meters high.. TALLER THAN ME!!!) made by “Laith Al-Amiri”…

I wonder why anything similar happened when the Jimmy Carter incident occurred :P

I think something similar would happen to the man who raised his sandal (3azkom Allah, n3aalah) saying that “Gazah will be free starting with this” or something similar… Or not… Can’t remember where did I read\see that…

Well, Check the REUTERS article for more details.

Where can you find GOLD in Japan!?

It’s true what they say: “Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure”… Or something like that :P

According to REUTERS, A sewage treatment facility in central Japan receives a huge amount of gold through sewers due to precise manufacturing…

The factories uses the Yellow Metal (GOLD) for some electronic components (CPU and RAM contacts for example) and flush what’s not needed down the toilet (Is it a variant of flushing a gold fish? :P )… Stupid factories… Just re-check your waste idiots!! :P

Such waste can carry 1,890 grammes of gold per ton of ashes and whatever while Japan’s Hishikari Mine, one of the world’s top gold mines, can extract 20~40 grammes per ton of ore…

Bad thing we don’t have such factories here in Kuwait… I wouldn’t mind digging gold in our sewer… Who knows, I’m sure I’d find interesting stuff :P

Let’s scrap this saf… What’s that? 100,000 Euros!?

Lucky scrapers… And well mannered as well… Hats off people…

Some safe was sent to be scraped in Berlin (Germany again… Not just one Ger, MANY GERS!!! [Sorry, had to kick this lame joke :P ])…

The scrappers found 100,000 Euros inside it and sent’em back to those who wanted to scrap it (Some bank)… WHAT KIND OF STUPID EMPLOYEE\BANK IS THAT!? 100,000 EUROS!?

Seriously, if it wasn’t for the good scrapper guys the employee would’ve been raped :P

I’m absolutely sure %99.873645398E87653487 that if something similar happened here in Kuwait, the money wouldn’t return (I probably wouldn’t return it myself) :P

Free MMO NFS!?

EA is starting to impress me recently (Specially since the Steam move)…

I’m not going to talk about it more since I’m not an NFS person (I LOVE GRAN TURISMO), but it’s really interesting that I would give it a shot too…

I’m sure the “Al-Dawri Al-Yabany (Which refers to Winning Eleven)” and “Underground” layer of Kuwaiti Youth will be obsessed about such arcade game (Which would be one of the reasons not to play this game)…

And yes, PC ONLY (so far)… Sorry console guys :P

Amtek U560 UMPC and Windows7

I was shocked when I first read the title…

Amtek U560 UMPC with 512GB RAM and 600MHz Intel A100 CPU score 1.2 in Windows7’s Experience Index (Which is more than my laptop’s 1.0 [Intel Centrino 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM])…

The wireless driver didn’t work so they used WindowsXP drivers (I did that too… And it works!!)

Microsoft Surface + The Super Bowl Security = 73h 53k5!!

Too bad the video won’t show anything interesting (Though you can imagine the concept)

I don’t know how to describe what’s going on in there, but they’re using Microsoft’s surface to actually coordinate security forces and squads to wherever the guy who’s monitoring things want’em to be (Let’s hope who don’t prank’em :P )

If something like this would happen to Kuwait, I’m sure they’ll be using Apple-related products because they’re fancy and run OS SUX (OS X) and probably connect’em somehow on BlackBerry since they’re Kuwait’s thing nowdays :P

Well, here’s the video if you’re curious (Shouldn’t they publish the fat camera guy’s tape?)

JPEG XR to be a standard in 2009!?

I can’t really wait to see it implemented in dSLR cameras…

Microsoft’s JPEG XR (Also known as HD Photo) standard, according to CNET’s article, provides some useful advantages over JPEG…

* It offers a great dynamic range between darkest dark and brightest bright (The span between’em)
* It offers double quality for the same size, or half size for the same quality
* Faster to zoom in and out since its easy to decode a portion of the JPEG XR image…

Microsoft already released some HD Photo support for both Photoshop and Mac OSX… Let’s just hope they release some Linux support soon

The less you eat the more you remember!?

This explains why I can’t memorize stuff before going to tests :P

Well, according to a study made by German study, reducing calorie consumption by %30 could boost memory for elder people in three months…

OK guys, skate till the rescue arrives…

Such a clever and interesting way to ease passengers…

Some cruise ship in Canada got stuck in ice and the Ice Breaker rescue ship is having difficulties reaching them…

So what they did is turn that dull time to a festive time…

They started skating, playing musics, telling stories and showing some amateur videos…

The passengers and staff aren’t in any danger since they have enough food…
