The more this comes the more I love Windows\Microsoft…
Intel and Microsoft promises better and longer battery life when using Windows 7.
They demonstrated by running two identical IBM Laptops, one with Windows 7 and another with Windows Vista… The Windows 7 one increased 1.4 hours longer battery life.
The trick here is that Windows 7 has something that lets one of the cores to sleep as long as possible to save up battery when not needed.

1.4 hours, nice progress. Battery producers should also find a way to extend those battery life.
Good stuff are popping while Windows 7 is in RC (Now on RTM and some private full release) stage…
I wonder what would happen in 2010…
this will eventually propagate to other OSes you know.. not really windows7 specific, is it.
